Spring Break: St Louis: Part I

For spring break from school I took off of work for my first spring break ever and went on the long drive (7.5 hours) down to visit Michael at Fort Leonard Wood. I went down on Friday March 26th in the afternoon. On Saturday, Michael and I went to St. Louis for the weekend to get to experience and see the city that we drive through many times on the way to and from Wisconsin to Fort Leonard Wood.
It was a fun weekend to get away and see some great sites. We stayed in a hotel only a block away from Union Station. This was the old train station, as the name gives away, but is now just a bunch of cool shops and restaurants and also the home to a large Marriott Hotel. It was a cool building that was very historic and beautiful.
Michael and I decided to play "3D Glow in the Dark Mini Golf" while we were there.
It was an interesting experience. You wear some hideous glasses that make seeing difficult and the carpet has different levels of colors that the glasses make almost move so walking becomes difficult let alone putting. It was odd.
We took a self pic at the end to show our sweet shades however it is a horrendous photo that will not be posted here. I look as if the act of reaching my arm out to take the photo is quite possibly the most difficult action possible that clearly needs 100% of my focus. Michael looks even worse, or as he puts it, handicapped. Not good at all! St Louis part II to come soon...
